Our sister restaurant in Fukuoka selected for Tabelog Yakiniku Hyakumeiten 2026

Our sister restaurant in Fukuoka, 赤身焼肉USHIO (Akami Yakiniku USHIO), the original USHIO, has been selected for the first time for Tabelog's "Yakiniku Hyakumeiten 2026" in the WEST region.

Tabelog, a Japanese restaurant review and reservation site where diners rate and review restaurants across the country, announced the list on 14 October 2026. Its Hyakumeiten ("100 famous restaurants") awards, published by genre each year since 2017, select the 100 highest-scoring restaurants on Tabelog in each genre, with larger genres split by area; for yakiniku, 100 restaurants are named in each of three areas – TOKYO, EAST and WEST. Akami Yakiniku USHIO is one of 12 restaurants selected for the first time in WEST.

The announcement highlighted the restaurant's commitment to black wagyu heifers, mainly from Kagoshima, and to lean cuts trimmed by individual part.

Wagyu Yakiniku USHIO London brings the USHIO brand's focus on lean wagyu to Charlotte Street. Since opening on 28 July 2026, we have served our A5 lean wagyu omakase at £95.
